Lunch Menu and information
One of our children has an extremely severe life-threatening allergy to nuts. The allergy is so severe that she could have a reaction to airborne nut vapour; this means that if I eat nuts and then speak to her, she could die.
In order to ensure that we can keep her safe, our school will need to become an entirely nut-free environment. This means that all staff and children must avoid bringing anything into school which has nuts, or even traces of nuts, in it. It also means that we should try to avoid eating anything containing nuts for breakfast.
Delicious meals are prepared daily by our Catering Manager Mrs Baker and her team.
School Meals Changes – High Importance
We have an online system called ‘School Money’ where you will be able to order and pay for your children’s school meals. There is also the option to pay for your children’s school meals in school and through PayPoint. The ‘School Money’ system will also keep you updated on payments, balances and reminders by text message and email.
When ordering a meal there will be four options (some with the choice of fruit/yoghurt or pudding of the day); hot meal and fruit/yoghurt, hot meal and pudding of the day, Vegetarian meal and fruit/yoghurt, Vegetarian meal and pudding of the day, Jacket potato and fruit/yoghurt, Jacket potato and pudding of the day and Picnic tray.
If your child has an existing special diet, which we already have menus for, we will be in contact with you to give you a new special menu. The menu options will be the same as the main menu and you can order on the ‘School Money’ system as normal. The school and kitchen staff will have a list of special dietary requirements. Please order a ‘hot meal’ as normal. When this order gets through to the kitchen, they will have the information required to prepare a special dietary meal, as per the special diet menu.
Please remember that your children’s catering purse on ‘School Money’ should be in credit at all times. The expectation is that all parents order their children’s meals in advance on ‘School Money’. If you are having problems ordering, or you do not have the facility to access ‘School Money’, please come and see us in the school office. Please remember that failure to order your children’s meal will result in them being served a jacket potato rather than the hot meal of the day.

Information update 1st September 2022
When your child enrols in school, the school office will email you/or text you with the link and password to set up ‘School Money’ where you will be able to order and pay for your children’s school meals.
If you have siblings in the school, these will automatically link together when you log in to 1 of your children’s accounts online.
