Wrap-Around Provision

Wrap-Around Provision:

We launched our own in-house wrap-around provision in April 2017, and it has been growing ever since! We have between 40–60 children booked into each session which we run in the KS2 area of the school, and alternate classes each week.

We also launched our own holiday provision in October 2022 which will run for 6 weeks each year (April, June, August, and October).

The provision is fully staffed by highly experienced and qualified staff who mostly work in the school during the day. All staff have fully enhanced DBS checks, minimum level 2 safeguarding, most with first aid, level 3 in teaching assistant, and are led by a level 6 qualified school leader.

For full information on breakfast, after-school, and holiday provision, please read below.

Breakfast Club Provision:

Please drop your children to the school reception where staff will greet your child and take them into the main hall. They will be offered a variety of breakfast choices; pancakes, crumpets, toast, cereal, fruit, and milk. After this, they have a choice of various resources to choose from until it is time to tidy up ready to be taken to class. They normally have 5 minutes to play a whole group game before they head to class.

Times: 7.30am - 8.30am

Costs: £3 per session

After-School Provision:

KS1 meets in the school library and KS2 meets in a designated class for registration. Once every child is accounted for, children spend 30 minutes in the KS2 playground where they can play on the playground equipment or help themselves to a shed full of resources. They are then brought in for a snack in the KS2 area, where they line up at the kitchen and have a choice of vegetable sticks, fruit, and the snack of the day (rice cakes, kitchen-baked pizza/biscuits, breadsticks, etc). After snack, there are various activities set up, the library with books for quiet time or the focussed activity of the day. This could be dodgeball, crafting, baking, story writing, and much more. Planning is done half termly and sent out in advance to parents. The activity runs from 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm, and then it is clear up and quiet time until the end of the session at 5.50 pm unless you have collected your child any earlier. Collection is from the main reception and on the left-hand side as you walk in, there is an intercom for you to ring.

Times: 3.20 pm - 5.50 pm

Costs: £7.50 per session
