Village Library Support

Kingskerswell Library

Dear Parents and Carers, We are reaching out to ask for your support in protecting a vital part of our community — our village library. Devon County Council is currently running a consultation on the future of library services across the county. Some of the proposed changes could affect smaller, local libraries like ours, and it is important that as many people as possible share their views to ensure our community is heard. Why this matters Our library is more than just a place to borrow books. It is a safe, welcoming space for children and families, offering: Story times and earlyโ€‘years activities Homework and research support Free internet access A warm, quiet environment for reading and learning A community hub that brings people together Losing our library or changes to the opening times would have a significant impact on local families, especially children who rely on these services.
