    Children in Need 2024

On Friday 15th November 2024 all children and staff celebrated and fundraised for BBC Children in Need by donating a £1 to come into school wearing their best spotty or Pudsey inspired outfit.

If was fantastic to see the effort that all members of our school community put into their outfits and the kind generosity they showed with their cake donations.

The day as a whole was a huge success and we are delighted to announce that as a school we raised an amazing £412! Thank you for your kind donations and support for such a worthy cause.

Please pass our thanks to all those who contributed to your Harvest Festival donation.  We are most grateful for your support.  It is lovely to know that your pupils realise that there is need in their local area and responded in such a positive way.

We had a busy summer providing lunch bags for children who usually received school dinners, in addition to our usual provision of food, hygiene and cleaning packs, gas & electricity top-ups and home start packs.

As you know we rely on volunteers who donate their time freely and shops, organisations and individuals who donate items/money to enable us to help those in food poverty in the local area.

Should any of the families within your school require assistance please do refer them to us and we’ll be happy to support them.

    With grateful thanks
